Kitchen Designer in Chapin, South Carolina
Kitchen Design by an Interior Architect
Classic, custom kitchen design for homes in Chapin, Lake Murray and across the Midlands of South Carolina.
The kitchen is where a home tells the truth about how you live. It is where mornings begin, where guests gather no matter how lovely the living room may be, and where families return at the end of every day. Alexander Classic Interiors designs kitchens in Chapin and the Lake Murray area that honor that role, blending classical proportion with the ease of everyday life in South Carolina. Led by Savannah-Rose Alexander, a UCLA-trained interior architect, the studio approaches kitchen design the way an architect approaches a building: with careful attention to light, flow, sightlines and structure before a single finish is selected. The result is a kitchen that feels inevitable, as though it had always belonged to the house.

SMALL KITCHEN DESIGN
Small Kitchen Interior Design in Columbia, South Carolina
A small kitchen is not a limitation. It is a design brief. Some of the most beloved kitchens in Chapin and the surrounding Midlands are compact spaces where every decision earns its place. Small kitchen interior design rewards precision: cabinetry that reaches the ceiling, lighting layered to open the room, and storage engineered so that nothing is wasted. Alexander Classic Interiors brings their training in interior architecture to these projects, treating scale and proportion as tools rather than obstacles. If your kitchen feels cramped, dark or dated, a well-considered redesign can transform how the entire home lives, often without moving a single wall.
DESIGNED FOR LAKE LIVING
Kitchens for the Lake Murray Lifestyle
Life on Lake Murray asks something particular of a kitchen. It must welcome wet feet and weekend crowds, serve long summer evenings on the porch, and still feel refined when the house is quiet. Alexander Classic Interiors has made lake house design a signature of the studio, and that experience shapes every kitchen we design near the water. Durable, beautiful materials. Generous islands built for gathering. Sightlines that keep the cook connected to the view. These are the details that separate a kitchen designed for lake living from one that simply happens to be near a lake.

WHAT IT IS LIKE TO WORK WITH US
The Kitchen Design Process
Every kitchen project begins with a conversation. We walk your space together, discuss how your household lives, and establish the scope, budget and timeline for the work ahead. From there, the process moves through concept development, detailed design and documentation, and selection of every material and fixture. You will always know what comes next, and you will never be handed a decision without the context to make it confidently. For clients building or remodeling, we remain involved through construction, answering questions from your contractor and protecting the design at every stage. Clients searching for a kitchen interior designer near me in the Chapin and Columbia, South Carolina area often tell us the same thing: they did not realize how much calmer a renovation could feel with the right designer leading it.
DEALERSHIPS & PARTNERSHIPS
One of Three in South Carolina
Alexander Classic Interiors is an authorized dealer for Quality Custom Cabinetry, a Lancaster County, Pennsylvania workshop building bespoke cabinetry for the home and office. It is a distinction held by only three studios in the whole of South Carolina. Every kitchen, library and custom built-in is made to order rather than selected from a catalogue, which means cabinetry drawn to the exact proportions of the room it will occupy and finished to the standard that room deserves. For clients across Chapin and the Lake Murray area, it is the difference between cabinetry that fits and cabinetry that belongs.
